In the heart of Silicon Valley at the San Jose Marriott, a stylish hotel in the dynamic downtown area with incredible rooftop views, Jordan and Charlie’s big day was the perfect blend of urban and modern.

Our stunning bride along with her bridesmaids, Mom and family got ready with bubbles in hand, and music playing through the sleek modern hotel suite. Our handsome groom and his guys enjoyed whiskey tasting, and a few cigars.  

After the quintessential Mom and Grandma helping the bride into her dress shots, our bride was ready for her big reveal to her bridesmaids (scroll to see the amazing reactions)! Next up was one of our favorite moments, the first look between the bride and groom. After clearing tables from a breathtaking rooftop patio with sweeping views of the city, we staged our happy couple to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. Charlie’s reaction to seeing his bride was so heartwarming and emotional; it’s undeniable how much these two love each other.

The first look is such an intimate time, we always give our bride and groom a few minutes alone to enjoy each other before the day really gets going. Next, we made our way to the streets of downtown to capture portraits of our loving couple. As it turned out, there was a Día de los Muertos festival at a nearby park we had planned to shoot but we stumble upon the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph, a stunning building offering complimentary architecture to the sleek and modern Marriott. We snapped a few bridal party portraits and family formals before it was show time!

A beautiful ballroom had been transformed into an elegant ceremony space, complete with the most gorgeous fall floral arrangements and votive candles strewn everywhere. The bride’s uncle delivered a loving ceremony, including remarks of how miraculous it is that our loveable groom managed to snag this beautiful and intelligent bride. After sharing their vows, saying their I do’s, and finishing with a kiss, we officially had a Mr. and Mrs.

The guests enjoyed cocktail hour while we snuck the bride and groom back up to the rooftop for some incredible sunset photos. The bride and groom had some time alone before rejoining the wedding part and making their grand entrance to the reception, a romantically decorated ballroom to match the ceremony. Everyone danced the night away (lots of guests dancing), including us haha!
